Backyard Beach Party

Summertime is the most popular time of year to have an outdoor barbecue or even a swimming party. Of course, everyone has heard of these summer party ideas. However, there are many others to go along with it. Many people will agree that August is one of the best times to have a summer party. It is directly in between the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekend.

Just because you do not live close to the beach, there is no reason that you cannot have a beach party in your backyard. The only thing that is going to be required is music as well as food and drinks. You may choose to decorate with an umbrella and also some fake palms and possibly some tiki torches. If you are a little creative, why not consider building a bar right in your backyard. Of course you are going to want your guests to know that this is a beach party so they will be able to dress accordingly. It is probably a good idea to make this known on the invitations.

If this does not happen to be your style, there are many other options available. All you have to do is use your imagination. Consider a 50s theme complete with your favorite music from the 1950s. If you have kids, why not consider having a sleep out in your backyard so that you can light a campfire and look at the stars.

Company summer party ideas can be a bit harder to figure out a theme. You are going to have to keep in mind how many employees work for your company and how old they are. A pot luck dinner is always a great idea because it means that everyone is required to bring something. You should never have contests over who brought the best food. If your office would like to have a picnic, this is always a great way to get away from the work force and get some fresh air. Some people in your office may not be interested in doing a party theme. However, you should not worry about things such as this. If they do not want to participate do not force them.

If you can think up a game that everyone would be allowed to play, this is a great way for people to get out of their comfort zone and make new friends. For instance, consider having each person bring a picture of themselves when they are little. This way, everyone can guess who the baby is in the picture. This is a fun game for everyone to be able to get to know each other. After all, everyone enjoys having an afternoon off of work while they are getting paid.
